Teacup Planters & Bird Feeders | All Her Pretty Things at Lazy Daisy
Every vendor at The Lazy Daisy has a story, but some stories stop you in your tracks. All Her Pretty Things is one of them.
Look closely at the display of teacup planters, hanging macramé gardens, and watchful little owls. Every piece is made from something that was once loved, and the woman behind them is Kendal Buckman Wyatt.
Where the name comes from
All Her Pretty Things was inspired by Kendal's mother, Phyllis Fisher, who passed away in August 2024. Kendal describes her as not only her mother but her best friend. Phyllis spread joy wherever she went, and her love for life was infectious.
When her mother passed, Kendal inherited old china, cups, and other treasures. Instead of tucking them away, she decided to give them new life. In her own words, she repurposes "all her pretty things," creating new life and carrying on her mother's beautiful spirit for others to enjoy.
Each piece comes with a tag that shares this story and ends with the words: "I hope you feel her love." 🖤
What you'll find
- Teacup and teapot planters. Delicate vintage cups, saucers, and even a teapot become homes for succulents, spider plants, jade, and other greenery. Some have floral patterns, some have gold trim, and some are in bold jewel tones like teal.
- Hanging macramé planters. Cups and bowls are cradled in hand-knotted cotton and jute hangers, perfect for a window, porch, or plant corner.
- Bird feeders. Saucers and cups become charming feeders that bring a little life to your yard. You can find them hanging right alongside the planters.
- Succulent gardens in glassware. One of our favorite pieces is a mix of succulents in a cut-glass pedestal dish, topped with smooth river stones.
- Fall-themed planters. Right now, look for seasonal touches like a pumpkin-decorated pitcher planter and an aloe in a festive autumn pot.
- Plate-and-silverware owls. These whimsical owls are made from colorful plates and vintage silverware, with glass "gem" eyes that seem to follow you around the room. They're popular gifts, so don't wait long!
Why we love it
- Sustainable. Nothing is wasted. Old dishes that might be donated or forgotten find a second life.
- One of a kind. No two pieces match, because no two cups or plates match.
- Meaningful gifts. A teacup planter makes a thoughtful gift for Mother's Day, a birthday, a housewarming, or a sympathy gift for someone remembering a loved one.
- Affordable. Prices start around $8
