Giving the Past a Bright New Future: The Retro Den Moves to The Lazy Daisy!

If you were heartbroken by the recent, abrupt closure of The Painted Tree Boutiques, you are not alone. It was a massive shock to our local shopping community and devastating for the independent vendors who called it home. But as the saying goes: when one door closes, a brilliant new light shines through!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that The Retro Den has officially packed up their glowing collection and moved into The Lazy Daisy!

If you are a longtime fan tracking down their new location, or a home-decor lover looking for that perfect, jaw-dropping conversational piece, you are going to love what they are bringing to our aisles.

Shedding Light on The Retro Den: Vintage, Upcycled, and One-of-a-Kind

Forget what you know about traditional antique booths. The Retro Den doesn't just sell old items—they completely reimagine them.

The Retro Den specializes in handcrafting one-of-a-kind lamps out of unique vintage pieces. They take nostalgic, forgotten treasures from decades past and expertly upcycle them into functional, vibrant statement lighting. Every single lamp is a custom piece of functional art that you won't find anywhere else in the world.

When you browse their new space at The Lazy Daisy, you’ll find incredible lighting handmade from:

• Retro Cameras & Equipment: Perfect for the photography lover or film buff.

• Vintage Barware & Bottles: Adding a sleek, nostalgic glow to any man cave or home bar.

• Antique Radios & Tech: Blending old-school industrial design with modern, functional lighting.

• Quirky Throwback Items: Transforming everyday pieces of childhood nostalgia into brilliant focal points for your living room or office.

Standing Together for Our Local Maker Community

The unexpected shutdown of Painted Tree left hundreds of local makers and curators scrambling to protect their inventory and find a place to do business. At The Lazy Daisy, community is at the absolute heart of everything we do. We pride ourselves on providing a stable, supportive, and vibrant home for independent local small businesses.

Welcoming The Retro Den into our store isn’t just about adding amazing artistic energy to our aisles—it’s about standing by our local creative community when they need it most.

Come See the New Space Glow!

The Retro Den has been hard at work setting up their new booth and wiring up their latest creations. Because every single lamp is handmade and entirely unique, once a specific piece sells, it's gone for good!
