Ready to try your hand at the art of wood carving? Join artisan Richard Christy from Buck Island Bay Mercantile for a fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll carve a functional, beautiful and functional cooking paddle from start to finish!

Whether you’re a complete novice or looking to refine your woodworking skills, this beginner-friendly class is designed to walk you through each step of the process in a welcoming, creative environment. No prior carving experience is needed!

Workshop Details:

• Date: Sunday November 1, 2026

• Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (3-Hour Hands-On Workshop)

• Location: The Lazy Daisy – Virginia Beach

• Cost: $50 per person

• Class Limit: Strictly limited to 8 participants for personalized instruction.
